Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham an executive chef, who was looking for Elaine Benes shoes. The early 90s saw Barone was a regular on Carol & Company as a co-star with Carol Burnett. Barone had also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's husband in Friends the first time she appeared. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone following her departure from the show due to her desire to be a part-time character with a bigger character, was her replacement. She starred on The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the first season (1995-1996) as well as in The War at Home from 2005 until the year 2007. Barone was also a co-star in Daddio.
